You can download free videos from Google Video and a few other sites, and there are semi-illegal programs (meaning they’re illegal but the feds do nothing about it) like bearshare and limewire where you can get free songs. However, if you want to legally download music you have to buy songs from iTunes, Napster, Rhapsody, or another online retailer.
